6%
of employers saw behaviour improve permanently after they intervened
WorkNest survey of 1,017 HR professionals and business leaders; 45% saw it improve and then come back
This is the whole argument in one number. Forty-five per cent got the improvement and then watched it decay - which is not a finding about bad interventions, it is a finding about interventions. Anything that happens once decays.
What MeaningFuel does about it
- Before it happensWhat the daily ritual works on, every working day
- Two minutes a day is the dose this decay curve argues for. Distributed practice beating one massed session is among the most replicated results in learning research, across 317 experiments in one review (Cepeda and colleagues, 2006).
- After it hasThe module prescribed to the team that has this
- Book Civility and Respect for the team where it came back: ten short daily lessons over two working weeks, two ten-minute debriefs its lead runs, and check-ins after. When the course ends the daily insight is still running underneath it, which is the part a one-off intervention never has.
- What management seesThe reading that makes either one provable
- Whether it held. Insights reads engagement, people taking part and landing well against the previous period of the same length rather than a benchmark, so the question a board actually asks - has this company moved, and has it stayed moved - is the one the page answers.
The offsite worked. That was never the problem.
Week six is the problem. The person who ran it has moved teams, the thing everyone agreed has quietly stopped happening, and nobody can name the day it stopped.
MeaningFuel keeps it going: one short insight each working day on the values you chose, and a two-week micro-training for any team that falls behind. You see which teams carry them, pooled, with nobody named.
